Note this PSU has only 1 4+4 EPS cable, so mainboards wanting an 8pin and a 4 pin, or 2 8pin connectors won't work with this PSU.

Any motherboard will work with only 8 pins connected. The extra 4 or 8 pins are only needed for overclocking. (edited)

    Decent for the price.
Prefer semi-modular, but not going to get a decent 650W one anywhere near £50.

You can pick up the Thermaltake Smart RGB 600 Watt 80+ for £40 delivered...I just can't tell you where, lol. (edited)

    i know its stupid.

if somewhere isnt allowed to be posted due to break whatever rules, then that is between huk / firm.
that should not be affecting us.

We comment and advice in sub forum to others 1) advice 2) product knowledge 3) how it stands on the market.

so if the said subject has a challenge from somewhere this should be allowed within the comment area.

same happen to me; AWD had a cracker 6600 with option 6600xt before xmas, someone asked me is the 6600xt inside of it the best; no. X place at ccl is. (dead now) as awd has the better 6650xt.

and for that i got bullied by a certain admin u cant say that, one admin allowed me to say; no its not the best but check google, then this one comes back to me, u cant even say its better on the web, and my comments restricted for giving people best honnest advice.

got to the stage; i could even say to someone; no its not, after ive had 2million users suggest "FE" on prebuilts thats been banned for 2 years, pot kettle black on standards.

your lucky u get away with; ..I just can't tell you where, i didnt lol. (edited)

I've been out of the loop for a while, has the ratings system stayed consistent? Bronze now would still be the same as bronze 10 years ago, or has it changed over time like the system for home appliances?

There are now 2 standards that PSUs are reviewed against: the old 80+ standard that you're familiar with, and the newer cybenetics standard (which also uses bronze, silver, but has more tiers above that). The cybenetics standard also measures PSU noise. (edited)
