Android tablet users hold for Xiaomi pad 6 pro coming with a snapdragon 8gen 1+ and oled plus I believe 65w charging probably going to cost you £320-£360 in 1-3 months time UK (edited)

Would my daughter be able to do her college work on one of these? She's starting her degree in September thought this would be a bit more portable than a lappy

64GB of storage space? What a joke.

If you're buying it for kids or for most people really using it as a casual device then 64Gb is plenty. It's only if you want to download in HD a lot of movies etc that it's a problem. With technology it becomes redundant after a few years and the low end model is really good especially if you have more than one kid - 2 iPads are better than 1 iPad with a memory upgrade.

This is the iPad to go for if you need a headphone jack without splitters/dongles.

RRP 500 for 10th gen (shock)...i think I must have missed the price hikes as I saw the headline for this and dint think it was a great deal at 299 for 9th Gen

I use VMware Horizon on mine just fine so I am sure Citrix would work just fine too.

For anyone in doubt, £299 for an iPad that's only one generation old for new is really good and unless you've got specific uses for it, it's not worth buying the memory upgrades as they are extortionate regardless of other websites supporting Apple and listing higher end models as a cheaper £/Mb which is a stupid way of measuring given that an iPad isn't just memory.

i normally buy mine fro Hong Kong as a 10th gen same spec is £350. will be similar price in the US.

someone explain why we are paying £499?

warranty is the same and when we had an issue with the phantom touch problem on out ipad pro 11" they repaired it the same as if we'd bought it in the UK.

reminds me of the price differencce we used to have with eurpoe on cars.

Given the ridiculous inflation, it’s actually a fairly significant price drop that it’s available at this price.

When iPads allow side loading I'd buy one, but until then they're just too limited so Laptops are just the better choice.

Am I right in thinking with the correct adapter you can mirror the iPad onto an external display? But can't have app1 on the iPad and app2 on the monitor? Plus the iPad screen has to be on the entire time?
