sorted byI guess it depends on what USB ports you have on your PC, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 or Thunderbolt are becoming more common now . . .

I've just ordered the 20Gbps ORICO-M223C3-G4 as my motherboard has a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port. These faster units seem larger/beefier as I expect they need better cooling to keep the NVMe chips within spec when reading/writing twice as fast as the mainstream 10Gbps units.
With regard to size, I think 2TB drive capacity is the play right now while 4TB is getting cheaper all the time. It's nice to have a wodge of free space but it seems the prices keep dropping so having too much extra TB doesn't look like a good investment unless you can actually benefit from 4TB right now.
