What to do in case of fire - How to use a powder fire extinguisher
Find the fire extinguisher
Ensure you have multiple points of exit. Never turn your back on the fire. Check the pressure gauge on the side of the extinguisher – ‘if it’s green, it’s good’.
Remove the safety pin
Hold the extinguisher upright and stay calm. Ensure your grip is firm but not too tight on the handles, wrap your finger around the hole and pull firmly to remove the pin.
Aim and squeeze handles towards the fire
Gripping the handles firmly, point the extinguisher towards the bottom of the fire. Squeeze the handles together to release the jet of powder towards the bottom of the fire.
Use a sweeping motion going left to right
Move the fire extinguisher from left to right to cover the base of the fire, using all of the contents of the powder fire extinguisher.

sorted byThe one I bought on Amazon was a faulty one - which of course they refunded, but upon telling the company they sent me out a new one. Did feel bad as I never paid for it in the end
