Please make sure when buying a phone from Amazon that you confirm the serial number matches on the box and on the phone itself that it matches what Amazon think they have sent you (confirming through customer service).

I recently got stung by Amazon where I sent a phone back for a refund but as the serial was different to their records (which I can only assume the wrong serial number phone was put in the wrong box), they destroyed my phone and didn't issue a refund. I tried to show Amazon my phone records but that didn't work and they simply reiterated that I send them a phone back which I never received. Any big item from Amazon I would recommend doing this process of serial number verification to prevent such a problem from happening. Photos of the recieving box and phone would also help back this up.

The 2 year warranty might only apply to new purchases of the phone? I thought Warehouse gives 1 year as standard on all electronics?

There is one listed same price that doesn't mention any scratches. Missing sim ejector tool, but that's no biggie

    Quick heads up.
Not a bad price at all. But Oppo and OnePlus are both pulling out of the UK in the next few months.

Isn't that just a rumour at this point or fact?

I'm still on a OnePlus 7 8gb 256gb. Although it's been a great phone I wouldn't be rushing to buy another phone from them. The phone was only supported up until Android 11 and about 3 months ago they still hadn't pushed out Android 12 final update for the phone. I got sick of waiting and concerned at the lack of security updates. So I took matters into my own hands and installed pixel experience custom ROM on the phone. It's been fantastic, they push updates every month and everything works dandy banking apps and Android pay. I look to try and get 5 years out of a phone not two years that OnePlus had in-store of me. Phone is honestly rapid on pixel experience rom but it does get technical to install if anyone is interested

The OP7 Pro launched on Android 9 May 2019 that means the phone is into Year 5. When the phone was released it came with the promise of 2 major update, when it gets Android 12.

it would have seen 3 major updates the same as the Pixel 4XL.( released a year later and only got the 3rd because OP announced they were offering 3 years ) So I'm curious as to why you reckon Oneplus only had 2 years of ownership planned for you when the phone is into year 5?
And why you expect more than you paid for.

The OP9 has been on Android 13 since the start of the year. I don't see what bearing your 4 year old( 2 years of updates) phone has to do with the 2021 released OP9 Pro that has updates upto 2025 on a unified platform.
