    Heat given.

Say what would u say is the best phone under £300 with a decent camera and for everyday apps (not games)?

I lost my Poco x4 pro 5g which I really liked

Is this better than the xiaomi Mi 12, apart from bigger screen?

Any users able to confirm whether the pro+ is worth the extra £50 versus the pro?
There is more storage, quicker charger and on paper a better camera.
    Everything else appears similar.

    Any feedback appreciated

On paper, the camera is better. But the regular Pro's camera is such a huge upgrade from what came before (it's a proper Sony IMX766 with OIS now, same as the flagship Xiaomi 12 had) you'd struggle to notice. There is a difference in DXOmark, but it's slight and the regular Pro still scores over 100. The low-light differences to any last-year Redmi models is extreme for both of them. Other than that, it's just the superfast charging.

That being said, I don't think the 8/256 Pro is all that much cheaper. But if you're fine with 6/128 then you can save a fair bit of dosh for a phone that is mostly the same outside of how fast it charges.

Hi I have a note 8 pro and wanting to upgrade for a better camera etc.
Is this as good as pixel 7/7a etc. Thanks

No, but almost nothing is for cameras.
This is probably the first Redmi/Poco product that actually takes good pictures outside of direct sunlight. Though FWIW you can note my comment above that the regular 12 Pro is 95% as good and can be had for £50 cheaper if you're okay with 6GB/128GB.

If you mean in other ways, obviously performance wise it's still a step down from a Pixel because there are no X-cores, but you do get some great battery life as a side effect. Pixels also have proper waterproofing, which is something we're yet to see from Xiaomi. But if you want performance and don't care about the camera then the Poco F5 is what you'd look at.

Yeah I miss this, I'm on pixel 7 pro and not only does battery last 7 minutes and 32 seconds but take several days to charge.

    Back to Xiaomi we go

This or the Honor 90? I can't make up my mind. Audio is a big thing for me so this Redmi having Stereo takes the win. However even though megapixels ain't everything, Honor seems to have the better camera.

This okay to replace a Huawei mate 20 x? Love my Huawei mate 20 x but battery is on its last legs.

Huawei can replace the battery for £59.00. Was previously on offer for £24.90 (eligible phones).

This or the poco f5 pro? The latter currently £50 cheaper.

Almost been identical spec, but If my info is correct, the former has older iOS?

Same question, my redmi 9s battery is suffering and I could do with an upgrade
