The r.r.p. of £249 is a joke, £99 is about the right price imo.

    Got it from richer sounds

    Not that impressed
1st one bricked itself within a week
2nd one constantly disconnects from TV when you turn on the tv, have to mess with the output format back and forth then it'll come on. It does power on with the TV, just no sound.

Subwoofer is really good but the soundbar is disappointing for me in terms of sound

Gonna live with it for now, maybe it's alright for £169 with the woofer if I can resolve the disconnection issue

How have you connected it to the TV? I find with most soundbars, the best way to ensure it works with the fewest disconnects & other associated issues is connecting it via optical to your TV (an optical cable should be included).
Also, some have a 'sweet spot' volume - until you hit it, it's going to sound not much better than your TV's speakers. So raise the volume & experiment a little with the bass & treble controls if it has it, turn off your TV speakers in the settings, etc, etc. (edited)

You'd be much better getting a pair of edifier stereo speakers instead if you can accommodate them.

Whenever something has Alexa or similar built in. It means I don't want it. Just another microphone to worry about

Same price at Richer sounds and they are also doing the sub for £69. Unfortunately the sub is in store only, which is a pain, as I was tempted if I could get both delivered for £169. Still a hot deal from me.

Just received today sounds ok -but- it’s completely integrated into Alexa- in fact it’s unusable without it. If you don’t set Alexa up it keeps interrupting telling you to. Also the coloured bar on the front keeps flashing. So unless you want Alexa forget it. Going back. Should be called Alexa sound bar! (edited)

Interesting, but I would find it difficult to position it!
It is not possible to balance a 50 inch TV on top of it, and if placed in front, it obscures the TV remote sensor.
Read a review by Expert Reviews which states:
"The React also supports more advanced features including Alexa Communications and Alexa Multi-Room Music. The former lets you use the React as an intercom to communicate with others in your household or make phone calls, while the latter enables you to pair the bar with other Alexa-enabled speakers to enjoy music across multiple rooms."
The "making phone calls" bit interested me, but the manual says:-
"Microphone:This is the microphone to talk to Alexa.
Do not put anything on top of the sound bar. Doing so may leadaccidental operations.
This microphone cannot be used for calls."
So that removes a really handy benefit leaving just problems all the way.
    Disappointed

Would recommend purchasing a new TV stand, so you can place the TV higher. Would only be around £20.

I have this and can't really recommend it due to one unbelievably annoying feature (bug) - decreasing and increasing volume is EXTREMELY sluggish, and as others have said, there is no numerical display, just a faint hard to discern filled bar. You have to spam the volume buttons on the remote, and then wait for 5-10 seconds for anything to change. If you overadjust you then have to repeat the process. Very annoying.

You can ask alexa to adjust the volume I say alexa volume 60% and it immediate.
