SAMSUNG HW-Q800C/XU 5.1.2 Wireless Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos & Amazon Alexa

Product code: 688173
Bring the cinema experience home with this Samsung Q800C soundbar. With Wireless Dolby Atmos, you'll hear every whoosh, bang and spine-chilling creak in cinematic 3D surround sound, just like the director intended. And not a cable in sight. It's like being at the movies without the sticky floors and overpriced snacks. With 11 built-in speakers, carefully tuned by the Samsung Audio Lab, you'll feel like the on-screen action is happening right in your living room. You won't just hear that explosion, you'll feel it. And with Samsung Q-Symphony, great sound quality hits you from both your soundbar and TV speakers, so your favourite entertainment sounds better than ever. It's really easy to set up too, so you can just sit back and lose yourself in the story.

Good to know

- SpaceFit Sound uses a built-in microphone to analyse the acoustics of your room, then fine-tunes the EQ to best suit your space
- The 2 side speakers give you panoramic sound in your front room - your favourite movies, TV shows and even albums will sound epic
- Movies come alive with intense, powerful bass thanks to the impressive 8" subwoofer
- Control your soundbar using just your voice with Amazon Alexa - play music, search the web or check the weather outside without lifting a finger
- Adaptive Sound 2.0 uses AI to automatically tweak the sound based specifically on what you're watching

Just FYI everyone, the £300 discount applies when you buy this and other qualifying soundbars under the same promotion, only when you buy them together along with Samsung TVs. Not on its own!!!

Went for this deal in the end, but always reluctant to give my money to Curry's due to past experience so happy to say Richer Sounds did a price beat on this deal and ended up getting it for £539. so I'm very happy with that. Cheers op!

I got this for £412, if you use the trade in code takes 15% off after the £300 discount(not before tried it) then bought gift card via blue light 4.5% discount. I got delivery but you may have some in stock nearby. (edited)

Def wait until Samsung start doing cash back again.

One of these times when I voted hot just because others voted cold. Otherwise, from what I read, apart from improved software, I don't think there is much difference between the older B model and this one. It seems Samsung is replacing in stores the B model, so keep an eye, and you may find a bargain on the old model.

Apparently the C series doesn't support lpcm for PS5/Xbox, which is ridiculous

What does that mean in real usage terms? I wonder why they'd remove it

sorry i’m a newbie on this ….how does this compare to the sonos beam gen 2 ?

No contest as the Sonos Beam Gen 2 is slightly better than TV speakers.

No subwoofer, no real ATMOS channels, not very powerful & like all other brands that sell on its name & brand desirability, doesn't list specs include basics like power/wattage (obviously because it's worse than the competition, this case it's suitable for small rooms vs Samsungs 360W)

Some people buy speakers because of the Sonos brand, surely you buy speakers because of the sound quality

Went and tried this out in-store and compared with the far more expensive Sony HTA7000, that I went to get (I have a Sony TV so really wanted to stick with them) I much preferred the sound of this overall and I know it's not even the top of its range. £549 seems like a great price to me
