Is it possible to put a graphics card in this? Trying to find info on the motherboard, no luck (edited)

Possibly a small card, but the power supply is almost certainly some obscure, non standard thing that can't easily be replaced with something bigger, so that probably rules out anything other than a card that doesn't have more than a 75w draw and doesn't need extra power connectors.

I got the AMD Ideacentre 5 version of this a while back, here's the inside of that...it might help?

For all of those saying it’s a bad price for a pre build. Direct those wanting to buy a prebuilt system to somewhere online, that’s selling a better spec for cheaper rather than the, “build it yourself methodology” - because that’s the deal here.
Not a build it yourself one.
A lot of people lack time or skills and aren’t interested in building their own.

For reference, I’ve well over 2 decades of experience in all aspects of computer programming to peripherals and hardware, yet I just bought this, it’s an ideal business machine for me, albeit I’ve an 8th Gen with 16GB ram already but, whatever.

I’m happy with this deal and voucher. (edited)

Very true, if you can use the £75 voucher bringing this down to £375 it's a decent buy when you consider between £120 & £150 for the processor, then the PSU, motherboard, case etc + W11 (around £45 if buying a legitimate copy), SSD + RAM (another £50+) and you have a warranty (edited)

Received my order today, opened it up and can confirm it can take full size slot for GPU. However, as others have mentioned, don't think the PSU would cope a beefy GPU. I have a RX550, doesn't need additional power, hopefully will work... Or it's going back 😁.

On the subject to whether it's worth it. There's really not much in this PC, it's prebuilt and comes with Windows 11. I definitely would not pay the current full price, ok with the discounted price and the gift voucher though.

Even that Mac Mini M1 deal was better than this, and that wasn't a great deal.

I would have gone for this as well, but another poster said it doesn't have PCIe slot, which won't be any good for me to replace my Plex server :/

Not a terrible deal for the price - priced by component (@ Scan.co.uk), it would be about £450 (without a Windows 11 License). So £450 ready-built, with W11 installed and a £75 voucher, it certainly isn't a bad deal.

However, at these specs - I don't think it makes a lot of sense in the long run.

If you mainly just use the internet, business tasks etc and don't do anything particularly intensive, an i5 12400 is probably overkill.

If you want to play video games, do any video editing or anything more intensive then this PC just isn't flexible enough - the PSU as mentioned above is likely to be proprietary (and is also only 280w) so would restrict you to a graphics card that draws all its power from the motherboard (75w), which would be highly restrictive.

Additionally, if you want to upgrade down the line - you basically cant. I can't say for sure, but the motherboard and case may be proprietary, as well as on the basic side.
Beyond installing some more RAM and storage - which I definitely would even for web browsing, your upgrade path is extremely limited.

In conclusion, I'm not saying this is a bad deal as such, its just not particularly futureproof/upgradeable.

I understand why buying a pre-built is preferable, but at the end of the day this is just going to end up as e-waste 5 years down the line.
