IMPORTANT: The gift card has to be used within 12 months from the PIN code registration date at getmygift.lastminute.com. Remember that your PIN code has to be registered within 1 month from the date of purchase. The gift card cannot be combined with other voucher codes, discounts, promotions or cash back activities. Please note that gift card's code has to be applied before confirming the booking and not as a deposit payment method. The gift card can be used on more than one transaction, until the available credit is entirely spent, or the expiry date has passed. It can also be combined with a credit/debit card in case of bookings where the price exceeds the value of the voucher. The gift card needs to be used with the associated email address registered at the activation step. The gift card cannot be given to third parties, sold or converted into money. It is not partially or wholly reimbursable, even in case of loss or stolen. The gift card is only valid for payments made through the lastminute.com website: if you are presented with a ‘pay on arrival’ option for a hotel reservation, you won’t be able to redeem your gift card to pay for it.     Lastminute.com new tactic to encourage their customers to buy gift cards so when things goes wrong, you can't claim off them through your credit card! Clever for a cunning company...

    Yes thats true.

    Ideally you want to pay part with credit card too, that way you are covered.

    So if holiday was £225, pay £200 with vocuhers and then the £25 on credit card.
