    It's brilliant that this failed so hard and almost finished the dev house that made it. Players had tried to warn them that these characters and this tone was the precise opposite of what fans expect from a Saints game, but the studio leads very arrogantly dismissed the complaints, and made their bed. Hilarious.

    I think they probably got so far into production by the time they released the trailer they have to just see it through at that stage or lose literally millions in funding it to that point, i don’t want them to fail as a company, I love saints row games except this one! they will learn from this mistake… hopefully  (edited)

    They are trying to massively update this and make a comeback like cyberpunk but it’s such a big undertaking and their parent company is suffering massively so it might never happen

    It'll never happen, Cyberpunk was fundamentally a good game just marred by loads of technical issues, Saints Row is just an atrocious video game.

    Shame this. Saints 1 and 2 were 2 of my favourite games ever and then it just went downhill. I do feel sorry for the devs, as someone that works on the industry there will be some decent people out of a job soon i'd imagine.

    anyone know the difference between day 1 edition and 'exclusive' edition? day 1 shows as £25 for me

    I think the exclusive edition is the day one edition game content and a physical face mask/scarf

    It's £12 exactly in branches of CEX....I got my copy from an Asda about a month ago for £8....It isn't worth half that to be honest.
