About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Was looking to for somewhere for my wife and I to get away, this Christmas and looked on the hoseasons site just to see what the prices were like at Thanet Well. Its somewhere weve been to 5 times already and the properties are all of a very high standard. A superb base to travel around the lake district with Derwent water and Ullswater within a 30 min drive.

I seriously cant recommend this place highly enough and to be able to get accommodation for up to 4 for under £400 for 7 nights at Christmas is quite amazing.
It isnt the most kid friendly place as there are no play facilities whatever so Id say its best for adults.

Other accom is available at reasonable prices too.

We've stayed here last year. It was very quiet and also in the middle of nowhere. It's next to a working farm and on one day, the smell of a chemical spray was in the air. The (hills / mountain) views are great for some lodges. The drive to Windermere felt like Swiss Alps in parts. Supermarket is about 20 mins drive away and also close to castle ruins park, which made for a great half day excursion. National trust Aira force is around 25 mins drive away (from memory), drive to other attractions are 30-45 mins drive). Was a great getaway. Lots of rabbits, roaming outside in the morning.

Worth mentioning Talacre is also coming in at just over £200 for me for the same dates (4 people). Not interested in this deal but was thinking for family members if anyone is interested.

50623033-uJMdT.jpgWe enjoyed the break there last August. Quiet site. Large and spacious lodges, with verandas and french doors... Some of the lodges had hot tubs with views of the mountains). Note that the site is a mix of mostly stone chips with parts tarmac'd. It is also sloped mostly, so wheelchair users will need assistance, unless booking the wheelchair friendly lodge. Staff and other guests were friendly and quiet. No internet and mobile signal is weak... Bring downloaded netflix shows with you or lots of board games. 😘

No use to me, but maybe I can buy it as a gift for the mother in law (edited)

Scotland, Torridon Area Ullapool if you like mountains and nature. Peak time to visit but good weather and plenty of activities to do. Try Achmelvich Beach.

Stayed here last year. There was a chap always hiding in the trees, swinging on ropes and beating his chest.

If any of these are close to relatives cheaper for a week than a couple of nights in a hotel👌
