sorted byOften Remnant is described as Dark Souls with guns and that will give you a pretty good idea.
I played the original Remnant from the Ashes only when it was free on Xbox Game Pass and enjoyed it so much I ended up buying it on PS4 just so I could play it co-op with a buddy of mine.
Over time the original did really well, clearly enough to justify this sequel.
The launch marketing seems to be limited and the game is not without its flaws but if you enjoyed Elden Ring last year then it's worth giving this a try. (edited)
Remnant 2 has sold a million copies in it's first week as reported a couple of days ago so at least from a sales perspective it's considered to be performing quite well.
