Why is this so expensive? Is it the huge power output that costs the money? Just interested!

From the perspective of a camera guy, this could be seen as a bargain. Powering a camera rig - e.g. a camera, monitor and light - simultaneously for several hours usually costs a lot more than this.

The last 98wh v-mount battery I bought cost me £279. Now USB-C is getting common on camera gear, I could epoxy a camera mount on this and use if for the same purpose for £100.

Only 100W max output is quite disappointing considering the price and max total output. Can't imagine people needing to charge 2 laptops at 100W from a single power bank is a common issue. Can often find the same capacity and also 100W for signifigantly cheaper but I get that people like buying Anker.

There's the charmast brand which currently has an insane deal but probably would get deleted by mods here. Same capacity, also 100W from a single port, but for £40 somehow which is the cheapest i've ever seen. If you do need 2 x 100W outputs at the same time then instead of sharing the same 20,000mah like with the Anker version but 2 of the charmast power banks and have 20,000mah for each of them.

No delivery to Northern Ireland as per usual. We're the forgotten, unwanted land of the UK.

They won't ship lithium ion power banks on planes unfortunately!

Anyone used this to charge DJI drone batteries? Big Forrest, 3 drone batteries and this power bank seems like almost unlimited fly time.. just got the Mavic mini 3 pro not long ago 😁

Can confirm this fast charges no problem at 30w displayed on the LCD

Would love one of these as I love technology but I don’t have a genuine need for it. Heat added though

Haha I was just thinking the same

I really like how they give irrelevant information, and most of it is how much Wh has nowhere to be found. I wish everyone would stop using mAh where that can't be compared to any other product....
    Crazy-Climber's avatar
Hmm but Laptop battery and phone battery sizes are quoted in mAh so it kinda makes more sense to quote that as this isn't to power things with Wh really
  8. m4r3ck1's avatar
why can't you just convert it yourself? It's not rocket science.

    20000 [mAh] / 5 V = 100Wh

    good joke!

Ordered, way more than I need currently but will future proof my requirements.

Already have a 100w charger and three teenage boys with power-hungry phones!

Would you be allowed to take this on a plane ? ✈️
    Jacinto_Fernandes's avatar
Yes but all power banks should be in hand luggage only.

This will have ~74WH of energy so it'll charge those 2 100w devices for 22 minutes.
Those 100w devices are better value

It's not much different from Anker 737, I guess.
That is 140W but 24k as well.
  15. bomp306's avatar
Don't need it, have 5 powerbanks already. But they're all slow charge and non PD (edited)
    BB89.'s avatar
Haha outdated power banks without fast charging are annoying! I gave most of mine away and keep a spare in the car.

My 737 at 100w output doesn't last very long. Can't imagine charging 2 laptops with this
  17. andykww's avatar
I just bought the 737 for £95 on Amazon. Still unopened. Unsure whether to keep it or wait for reviews on these new ones.

Either initial stock sold out or pulled due to QA issues....
