However, as my cooking endeavours end at pineapple upside down cake and spotted dick and I'm not a jeweller or dealer in expensive spices: I can't really justify buying one.
My children might appreciate one, though. They visually compare each one's slice of spotted dick down the microgram. "Those that do the slicing don't get to choose their own slice!".

Works fairly well if you are just making a mug of coffee or something under 300g.
