85” inch tv mounting to wall, how high/low should it be?

I’ve purchased an 85” tv and will be putting it in the wall later today. It’s absolutely huge. I wanted it to be approx 90cm from the ground but it’s got me thinking if it’s too high or low.

The tv is approx 1800mm by 1100mm and bracket is one of those swivel tilt and extend.

Any advice?

the "recommended" mounting is so when you are sitting viewing the screen, a direct line from your eyes facing forwards would be the middle of the screen

This doesn't work for very big screens as you'd have to put them on the floor unless we're going to start sticking our chairs to the wall with no nails.
Best to use one of those super low and wide tv units and stick in directly above, going to look daft in most rooms regardless so put it how you want/prefer it (edited)

Depends on what type of TV it is, Oled, LCD and the type of panel (ads, ips, va). As different LCD panel types have different viewing angles that can affect the colour/contrast on the screen. If you mount it too high or too low.

If it's oled, it probably doesn't matter so much.

I agree with @uni, your eye line should be around the centre or just above or below. But roughly central.

If you Google it. Most sights give similar answers.

Yup Neo QLED, I went with eye level at with lower third of screen. Tv is approx 30”/75cm from the floor with slight tilt. Looks great. (edited)
