Xiaomi phone warranty

I'm looking for some advice with my Xiaomi F5 which I bought from the Xiaomi UK store in may or the release date.
I've had a fault with the vibration in it for months now where it sounds quite rough. Also it's developed a charging fault where it just shows charging then not charging over and over. I've only ever used genuine Xiaomi chargers with it and I've tried different chargers.
What am I best doing? Contacting Xiaomi for a repair or will the offer a refund? I've logged into my account and clicked after sales support and under that it asks service type "replacement" "return".
Has anyone done this before? Thanks

    2 year warranty.
My Poco F2 Pro is over 3 years old.
After dropping it over 50 times it still works fine.
    Good case and screen protector.

    I would expect a replacement.

Never had a problem with my old Xiaomi phones. Paid £379 for this one and it's been the worse one so far. Normally i would only spend around £200 on one

From my experience, Xiaomi will blame your issue on water damage and refuse the warranty.

I stopped buying them as they've done that twice now, once on a charge port fault and once on a battery expanding issue.

Customer service, as far as I can tell, doesn't exist at Xiaomi.

My POCO F3 developed boot-loop, thankfully I found out it came with a 2 year warranty (I bought from POCO UK store ~18 months prior) and arranged for a repair/refund. They sent me packaging to send it in, and they fixed it. I was very pleased. It had its main board replaced which surprised me (edited)
