Which Phone Are You Most Looking Forward To In 2024?

For me it's the Galaxy Z Fold6, because there are rumours of a new form factor to compete with the likes of the Oneplus Open (Currently £1399 or less with Student discount), The Honor Magic V2 (Coming Soon) and the Pixel Fold (Which I currently use, and the form factor is very good, considering i generally prefer larger displays)

Also, the Oneplus 12, Because the Spec sheet is pretty impressive (5400mAh Battery, Snapdragon 8 Gen3, 6.82 inch display, 100W charging etc.)

Samsung hasn't radically changed the design of its flagship foldable since its inception. There have been improvements and tweaks, but the device's look has remained unchanged over the last few years. This could change with the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Samsung is purportedly introducing a new form factor with its 2024 foldable.

Leaker Tech_Reve has claimed Samsung will change the outer display's aspect ratio, making it more roomy and less cramped. This should impact usability and make the cover screen more practical for daily use. Samsung confirmed to Tech Radar that it considered different prototypes for the Z Fold 5 but chose the current form factor because it offered the best "usability and grip and portability."

The outer screen on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is too narrow to type comfortably or run your favorite Android apps. Samsung's offering is the only outlier. Foldables from other companies, like the Google Pixel Fold, pack a wider cover screen

So which smartphone you looking forward to in 2024?

What ever ones you post next year . That are a decent upgrade on the pixel 7 pro. I will keep an open mind!

Edit - as long as it's not an iPhone (edited)

I'll be quite happy if the one I've had for the past 18 months lasts through 2024. It's a phone after all. It can take pictures and access the internet and I can text and call people with it. That's more than adequate for my needs (edited)

something that wipes the floor off my mi 10t lite for the same price! I keep looking to upgrade it but it's going strong from three years ago. when i look at similar price, I see a bit more storage but that's about it! (edited)

OnePlus 12 for me, currently using the OnePlus 7t pro and it's hands down my favourite phone ever.

I'd have kept using it but vodafone have closed their 3g network so all my texts and calls are over 2g and the signal is horrible.

I had the pixel 6pro most recently but broke the screen so had to come back to the 7t pro until I find something worthy of upgrading to.

Shouldn’t the OnePlus continue to work on their 4G network?

Hoping to see more super thin foldable phones like the Honor Magic V2. If that form factor and battery was in a Samsung device with a Snapdragon soc, I'd be super interested. I say Samsung because they do great updates and love their one ui os.

I'm also looking forward to more phones with the Snapdragon 7 gen 2 and hoping for these phones to hit the £200 mark (edited)

I'm after a small phone (6 inch screen or thereabouts), max price £250. Needs an alright camera and NFC but other than that it's just for messaging, social media etc. Anyone got any tips? Currently rocking a Xiaomi Mi 9SE that's reaching end of life

Hoping to grab the 16GB OP12 if it comes down to £700-£750 in the next few months. My OP6 is plodding on just fine but I think it's time for an upgrade soon.

Hi Mr Switch advice please, I see lots of good offers for Chinese versions of phones about just now.
Not a techy expert but how easy is it to convert these phones and can they be problematic, advice appreciated..
