About this deal

VIPER will be NASA's first robotic Moon rover. It will embark on a mission to the lunar South Pole region to trek into permanently shadowed areas and unravel the mysteries of the Moon’s water. VIPER will be the first rover to measure the location and concentration of water ice and other resources. These resources could eventually be harvested to sustain human exploration on the Moon, Mars — and beyond!

Remote controlled camera attached to the lunar module itself, pointing to the ladder. At least you’re not claiming the Earth is flat. I hope. (edited)

The only moon it will be going to is in a film studio like the last time (if they bother to even fake the footage this time )

Bit annoying that nowhere, not even nasa, says what this actually means. They just say "names will be attached to the rover". That could be anything from everyones names chucked into a word/text file then saved on a USB stick and just put on the rover somewhere, or is can be something like everyones names printed on paper in literally microscopic text and again stored somewhere on it. With 30,000 names so far it's gotta be something like that and something a bit pointless/boring otherwise they'd say what it means.

They usually etch the names onto the circuit boards.

If I send my name to the moon, does that mean I’ll be nameless until it comes back?

Don't tell me, you're a Flat Earther, 9/11 Truther and Kennedy conspiracist too? They all seem to go hand in hand with people of a certain mindset. The sort who think they're much smarter than us stupid 'sheeple'.

    Do Aliens send christmas cards?
    JTD.ST's avatar
They do but they only the ones living on Neptune. So it means you only get a card once every 165 years. And with Royal Mail, lord knows how long it will take to arrive.
