Anyone found a good deal on a strimmer bundle which qualifies for a free battery?

I looked and I don’t see any decent deals for anything. I’ve had makita redemptions before and I’m sure they’ve cracked down and only have products where you’re paying too much in the 1st case. Sometimes if you build it up with a 20% eBay discount you make it work providing you get a proper receipt from someone like FFX it can be worth it

Screwfix don’t even sell most of it and they are listed as stockists. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Anyone have an opinion in Makita compared to Ryobi?
    AdrianSayers's avatar
Different league of quality, ryobi is prosumer vs makita professional. Just depends on how much you use it.

    Read it carefully.
You have to claim within the 28 days. But it won't be dispatched until the 28 days has passed so that you can't return the tool and keep the free thing.
Also so the dealers can't sell the tool and keep the free thing

Are dealers really reporting returned serial numbers to Makita? Not thinking of doing it but don't see this 28 day thing as a reason to off-put a 'scammer'.

They do this every year - this is how I get all my spare batteries. If you need the tool, it's worth waiting for this!

Hard to find any of the hedge trimmers on the websites, if they do, they already come with 2 batteries, so not worth paying £239 for a hedge trimmer and 3 batteries. (edited)
