Craghoppers walking trousers are great for the larger man, very comfy fit.

    Signed

Would this type of trouser be any good for climbing Snowdon for example?

ALL mountain walking is weather dependent. The fact you're going up a mountain, then you'll also need various layers of waterproof/warm gear anyway. These are excellent for the hills/mountains. But, you'll still need waterproof over-trousers etc, if you want to stay safe and dry.

Just as point of note. Their 'Classic' trousers are also discounted. I bought two pairs of the classic instead as they are a more baggy fit and thus more suitable for my cyclist thighs.

I also dont like how the regular 31" inseam rides up halfway up my ankles when im sitting down and my sizes for the Pro II were £38-40 in the colours i wanted so it was an easy choice for me to make at the end of the day.

Classic's arrived today and they fit well, although maybe a little too baggy for my personal taste. My decision to go with the Long's paid off. (im 185cm tall. Long's are 33" inseam) and the hem's dont drag on the ground when I have my shoes on like other trousers I have tried so they are decently proportioned.

The material overall still feels very very cheap. A tacky sort of cheap but that could be because its made from recycled materials. Im not sure how durable it is but for 20 notes. Im happy to get a year or two out of it

I think they are the same, just 2 different listings.

    Never 28" ...an 30" swims...I don't get it...go outdoors is the same

Go Outdoors sometimes have 28", I've picked up a few pairs in the past.

The black in my size was £23, which is still good

I prefer the classic Kiwi trousers over these. These are way too tight around the hips & thigh area, or at least they were for me, whereas the normal Kiwi trousers are spot on, offering a more relaxed fit, more suited for Hiking and general use in my opinion.

I suppose working at an office is an adventure these days, looking at the photos

Sadly not in my size but great trousers as I have others.

One of my pet hates is how fiddly Amazon is in terms of having to click though each and every size/colour combination to check prices. Wish there was a smarter UI option for these kind of listings.

Cheers OP, picked up a pair

Well, got mine delivered today, they’re not Kiwi Pro II, just plain old Kiwi Pro - which are a very different trouser. Different fit, zips and pockets and the fabric feels completely different.

Debenham is a nightmare to deal with. Just returned a pair of craghoppers convertible (zip) trousers to them today. I had ordered a backpack.....they sent me trousers.
