Last time I had a low strength craft beer, it tasted better than a lot of other regular beers. I’ve not tried this but like the amazing progress with non-alcoholic beer, I suspect low strength beers have come a long way recently.

It’s weird how some people are so triggered by low abv beers….

I agree, for me it's straightforward - drink, or do not!

It's very good beer regardless of ABV - if you are drinking just for strength then stick to Special Brew

Just because you like a beer with a bit more bite doesn't mean you just go in for high strength stuff. However I can drink this despite my preference being a bit stronger.

This beer is like being on a canal boat.

    It's close to water.

The version I heard was "like having sex on a canoe" I'll let you all deduce the punchline

Do people really not understand that this is amazing fresh but no better than Carling when a year old. Freshness is key so it's just a waste of money.

This must be some of the lowest strength beer around. Last time I looked, Aldi had shandy of similar strength.

Needs to be 4.5% really before I make an investment! (edited)

I prefer my drink with at least 5% ethanol.
