Hope this helps someone! Usually tickeys are around £150 just for Sunday.
I can't go this year

you need to make dates clear, are these for 2015 or 2016?

sorry on further reading its says "to bring it forward" but still some could interpret it to be 2016.

Stuck the date at the front, bit confusing on the website unless you read it.

Might wanna add these are general admission tickets

This is a good deal indeed. It will be entry to the circuit grounds and not to any enclosure or seating so you will need to vie for a good viewpoint.

When I last looked entry for Friday practice alone was £75.

Standard tickets for Sunday only are £155! But good to hear they're bringing the prices down over the next year.

Good luck getting any sort of decent view of the track with GA. Went last year and unless your hardcore enough to be waiting outside at the crack of dawn then you won't get near, if you are hardcore enough then you will probably be there for the weekend

Just ask Santander for them...

Here is the link to the announcement

The tickets will go on sale at 0900 on Wednesday 28 January and will be sold on a first come first served basis. The £99 ticket is an adult general admission ticket for race day on Sunday 5 July.

Silverstone have also introduced a policy to encourage families to attend the event by reviewing ticket prices for children. Children aged 10 and under can now attend the whole weekend free of charge on a general admission ticket and children aged 11 – 15 can attend race day for only £49.

Silverstone is so expensive! I was in Australia last year and was lucky enough to see the F1. The price of a 4day weekend ticket was around £150

nope im out this year too.. ill make it next!!

Thats only for sunday grandstand tickets duh.

Good deal. Being able to sit is best. Though the grandstand seats are a joke. No chance of photos there

Oh right. Sorry

Having never been before, is general admission a bit of a waste of time? Some people you wont be able to see any of the race?

Makes Premier League football look like a bargain if this is a reduced price.

For F1 you really need to be there by 6am. The queues into the venue are manic too so be prepared to get there early and queue. Then get through the gates as fast as possible and dash to get a spot.

Sit there all day and watch a group of cars go past and then wait another 1min 30 to see them again. The longer it goes on the more spaced out they are.

You do get screens and to enjoy it more go with mates and join in with atmosphere. I quite honestly enjoy the GT days more and the events which allow pit walks and keep the F1 for mates in the pub.

Sorry for the downer.

Looks like they are all sold out

I love F1, well I love the 'racing', but the prices and the bent corrupt people at the top put me off.
But how on earth can £100 be considered a good price for a ticket to see a race. You can watch it on TV for free, the argument of the noise is no longer valid.

I Have attending Silverstone some years ago as a birthday weekend gift, so I know what it used to be like, but £100 is too much. It should be no more than £40 for a Sunday ticket to watch this race. £100 is a rip off, £150 is stealing and should be criminal.

It's not Wednesday 28th until tomorrow.

Thanks. See you there!

Hot, A great price for general admission but be warned you will not see much unless you are prepared to get there very early. I worked the grandstands for a few years so have been first in the circuit on a Sunday, the general admission people que at the gates from 5am to get a good spot to see the race. I now pay for a weekend grandstand ticket and think if you love F1 it's worth the extra money.

Won't see it even if it's free. All because of a **** called Bernie.

F1? Not the fastest cars that can be made, have to give them tyres that wear out to make it interesting.
Paid a small fortune a few years ago for grandstand seats poured with rain freezing cold and had to look at the telly to work out who was winning. Waited hours in traffic jams to get in and hours in traffic jams to get out.

Heat added for price even though GA must be even worse than I experienced.

Would have been tempted if the engines didn't sound like garbage.

The monstrous sound of an F1 car is huge part of the thrill of going to the track. As for the way they sound now... no thanks.

Im a big car racing fan,but F1 has become a boring prossesion.Save a fortune and go see Touring cars or GT cars instead
