I've just ordered 2 lots for our van, thats this years and next years service taken care of, along with some of the filters I bought in bulk when a big VW parts place had a crazy sale last year.
It'll be just fine for start/stop engine as long as one of the 'numbers' in the list matches up with whats in your user manual - if unsure just pop your reg into the Castrol Oil Checker, and play match the 'numbers' with whatever product pops up on there.
'Date' on it is good as well. Says on pack that it should have a shelf life of 5 years from manufacture date thats stamped on the lid. Mine is good until 2028.
That more than covers me for the next 2 services. A VW Transporter takes 8 litres on an oil change, so I have 2 plus 'change' which is left with my mechanic in lieu of any fluids/odd bits he tops off or changes during services that I forgotten to get as he prefers you get your own bits for general services, and advises best place/brand for bigger bits like brake pads/discs.
