Nothing much around here unless you like a good walk. Weymouth would be my choice

There's loads of things around Devon Cliffs, depending on what type of things you want that is. Exmouth just down the road, Exeter for something bigger, world of country just outside the park, great beach, Crealy theme park, donkey sanctuary, Diggerland and loads more, what things do you like that aren't arouind this area?

If you look at the map above, you’ll notice the big space in the middle of the park on the coast. It’s an mod firing range, so unless you like loud gunfire from 9am all day (potentially to 1145 at night), I would give this site a swerve!

Have you stayed here? Although you're right in what it is, the sound isn't loud, you get used to it after an hour. There's around 2000 caravans, the majority rented, look at the reviews, see how many people find this an issue.

Just don't tell your mother in law about the riptides when you decline to join her for a swim

Ha ha, like the beaches in Southern Portugal, people think theyre in the med but its the atlantic, spent many a happy hour 'victim watching' people getting wiped out then trying to exit with dignity.

Probably be better off buying a holiday in Spain

Works out cheaper and better in the long run

Please provide details of this holiday for four in Spain from the 17th to the 21st April 2023 costing less than £65

In fact, I'll be charitable - any four nights this year.

We just got back from a 4 night stay at Haven in Yorkshire for £49 and we got upgraded for free to. Caravan was really nice and comfy and warm and very clean and tidy. The site was also very nice and so we all the staff. We did have a problem with the heating control but they showed us how to use the boiler directly and it was then all good. We explored all around the area and had a great time away.... brilliant bargain holiday

I went to haven holidays frequently before the pandemic. Unfortunately they have increased their prices exorbitantly post pandemic especially during school holidays. Their quality hasn’t improved to match the prices. This a good deal if you have no children or can afford private school.

Beautiful part of the world. Lovely walks, including cliff top to Exmouth (or beach at low tide). Firing range never been an issue for us, took kids when very young and as they got older.
The bar over looking the bay is cracking on a sunny day.
World of country life right outside. Pub and cafe within walking distance.
    Great price OP

I have my own van down Devon cliffs and it's a brilliant site but I am biased as I'm an owner. If anyone wants a reasonable priced break, PM me
