Customs duty may be charged on top of the headline price, usually on items costing more than £135 Information
Surely got to be a mistake erm glitch this (always wary of that word here but still ) - as it takes off 95% of the price when you add 2 phones to the basket. Massive credit to the OP at MyDealz for spotting it.

No chance this is getting honoured.

    Good luck though

After making an impulse buy last night and getting the £125 Note 9S, I've now ordered 3 phones in 2 nights from Aliexpress after never ordering one! My late hubby would be proud! (edited)

Why do price glitch posts always get put up, then taken down for a while and put back on. The cynic in me is so the mods or staff can use it before the rest of the peasants hammer the site

I'm pretty sure all this "I bought 100" and "I've sold XX already on ebay" are just people trollling to get a reaction. Nobody's that stupid, are they?

(Hypothetically speaking) Even if you were to get them, you still have to factor Paypal fees, customs charges and competing listings, so the profit calculations may be a bit off. (edited)

AliExpress kinda works like amazon, the third party sellers have to stick to a certain cancellation percentage or there account will go into the red and maybe taken down. That’s why they are asking people to cancel, if you hold out I can’t imagine them cancelling all orders or they will be in AliExpress bad books. I think they might take an L on some, so stick it out people

    Congratulations on joining yesterday.

Everyone knew it was a mistake from the outset, smartphones with a reasonable level of spec are not £4 each, regardless of brand.

We are trying to cheat them moreso than they are trying to cheat us, and you know it.

Mine still say pending, but the second I get a request to cancel of course I will, it's silly to try anything else.

In this instance, the guy was being greedy and feeling entitled, when he has brought absolutely nothing to the party. I have no issue at all with people who don't contribute, so long as they remember their place.

But what does it matter to you? I don't understand.
Why do you have to bring "something to the party" just because he wants to see if the deal is honoured if he doesn't cancel it? Again you're sounding superior by saying "so long as they remember their place." You're not better than anyone here, it's just a deals website. Calm down.

Also, we could think this "offer" is just propaganda for their brand. Who knows? I guess I will wait and see what happens next.

They've apologised for the mistake and offered a goodwill gesture but to some that's not enough. The phone won't be sent regardless if people don't cancel it themselves, it will automaticically cancel after a certain length of time. Yet some people would rather see the company get negative marks against them. Poor attitude.

Just 95% off mobile phones sold by "Doogee" which appears to be quite a small company is no chance (especially with it being a "pre order" so they only manufacture the phones once orders are placed)

Who cares if there is no chance or not, if it works great i'll have 18 new phones. If it doesn't, i'll get my money back. No great shakes my man. One thing is for sure, you definitely wont be getting them if you didn't order, that is the only thing we know for sure at this point!

It was hopefully to make people think twice because they could be waiting weeks if not months for their money back. You wouldn't just give some of your money to a neighbour or fried to needlessly hold on to for a month before getting back would you?Me saying it after the events is because of the whining about it, people saying they wished they never ordered and so on. Well, that could have been avoided from the start because it was obvious from the beginning this was never going to be honoured.

I've had some incredible luck from taking a punt on here, I got a totally free hot tub, a pair of Bose QC35s that owe me £0, a Dolby Atmos system that is normally £1,000 for a little over £300 and many, many more.

If I end up with a cancelled order, or even lose my £8 'stake' altogether, it's no issue at all.

I received a message from Doogee. I pointed out that is wasn't a mistake. The offer clearly stated 95% off 2 phones and the calculation of the price was correct. I've advised that I won't cancel my order and expect the phones to be delivered. If we all try the same it should work!

Just reading this thread 12 hours later. I've had a Doogee, love cheap Chinese phones, and yet wouldn't have touched this. What I find funny is that normally if a Chinese phone deal is posted there are normally a fist full of comments about Chinese phones being full of viruses, or that AliExpress is Chinese and therefore untrustworthy, and in the mad panic to buy, next to none.

Genuinely curious if people now get hooked on the site though having dabbled with the idea of a cheap phone. For what it's worth, while this deal was never going to work, there are some genuinely decent phones that can be had on the site for 50-60 quid, that nobody would touch, because they don't want to pay 'full price...'
