Which of the 2 Laptops would you rather have if they were the same price. This Acer Nitro or the i7 11800h RTX 3060 95w TGP ASUS TUF in the link.

This is a pretty good laptop and easy enough to pop open the bottom to upgrade the ram if you so wish. The currys one a few months back for 850 only had 8gb so this saves you from doing that.

I take it playing stuff like GTA, Fifa and hogwarts legacy on this would be no trouble

Should be no issues - one of the main things for Hogwarts Legacy is 16GB RAM, saw this on other posts here.

I have this laptop (Ryzen 5 / RTX 3060) and it's easy to open up, upgrade RAM, SSD, even to keep clean. (Time to give it another, I think, I do it every few months - unlike the Thinkpad P50 I had, which was impossible get to the fans).

You can even replace the battery if you're so inclined (a few articles / videos out there!). It's a small thing but I like that I can tweak how fast the fans are running, too (though, I think that's a "gaming laptop" thing in general - can you tell I've never had one before?).

Only thing I will say is a slight negative (being a touch typist) is that one or two keys are *slightly* wearing - though, this is a year after purchase. (edited)

Hows the build quality? Looking at some youtube reviews the hinge and keyboard quality looks fairly flimsy which is putting me off slightly.
