An an owner for the past 5+ years and now with a new AEG washer dryer as of yesterday, I've had a very positive experience. They don't go wrong, and in the unlikely event something should happen, Domestic and General service sorts it out under warranty. I would always invest in an extended warranty with any modern appliance!

Our AEG Built in Washer Dryer just arrived. Made in Italy (not Chinese rubbish) and superb quality. So quiet when running and more efficient than the equivalent Bosch/ Siemens model.

You really can't beat the value proposition on offer here with the additional 20% off + possible Topcashback reward.

Even installation is discounted by 20% with this coupon, which at under £50, is ridiculously cheap compared to John Lewis etc. Kaboodle installed both our oven and washer dryer extremely professionally on behalf of AEG. Overall, a super hot deal!

AEG=Electrolux say no more probably one of the worst brands to go for since Electrolux bought the name. And made in Italy doesn't create any reassurance most of Electrolux tat is made over their. You'll find a large amount of AEG models are rebadges as per usual with the Electrolux brand.

Is there any way I can stop getting recommendations in my personal alerts for things? I put Washing machine (and several other alerts on my alerts) I bought the stuff and took them off and I’m still getting the alerts?

I had basically the same model for 8 years until the drum bearings failed last year. As the bearings are part of a sealed unit its all over rover at that point. Bearings are likely one of the first items to fail for most people so do be aware of this.

Otherwise the machine was reliable, but I did find the bodywork under the detergent draw developed some rust!

Seems to be a common fault among most machines these days, my LG gave up around the same time. Hard to justify paying the extra if this 'premium' machine seems to have a similar longevity.
