That thing struggles to pick up food bits dropped by our little one. It does pick up dust but shark seem to have the worst filter system. The dust goes past the first filter and starts to go through to the motor next thing it starts blowing dust everywhere as you clean then it eventually clogs so if you want dust picked up and not much else this is the machine.. The bigger units are worse it goes through 3 filters.
