Hoover is not a good brand. Very cheap but very unreliable

Totally disagree. Ours has lasted twice as long as our previous Samsung washing machine and is still going strong after 7 years.

I inherited one of these from my niece when she moved house. I've only had it 6 months or so and she had it about a year and in that time it's been faultless, can't comment on long term reliability but can say it is whisper quiet in operation. UI is damn confusing though.

I would not use a washing machine to hoover my floor...

People don't use a washing machine to hoover their floor, they use a vacuum cleaner to vacuum their floor

I had a Hoover washing machine as well, lasted 15 years. Wish it had been replaced with a hoover. Next John Lewis rebaged (made by Zanussi) lasted just over the guarantee period. Now using AEG, It's ok but wasn't cheap and is certainly no better than the Hoover

I have a Bosch that needs the bearing replaced, just out of warranty - sounds like a jumbo jet taking off when it goes for a full spin. The beko it replaced lasted for about 9 years..
