100w USB C to C Charging cable, 6ft.

Seems like a reasonable price for a long, decent branded 100w cable.

I'm not really up on cables but isn't amzn.eu/d/9…QvA even better for two 6ft 100w cables from Anker @£11.49?

Edit: looks like maybe this is less durable in terms of rates bends etc (edited)

I've bought a couple of these, and they work well. Had a no-name one previously ( brand name was "SOOPII" which seemed fancier as it had a little built in screen showing the current power) - but that one went up in smoke when I tried using it to power a higher power laptop! (together with a 100W uGreen charger)

(the end with the screen literally emitted a little puff of smoke, and the cable was then dead!).

Lesson learned, and fortunately it seemed to be just the cable that died... the charger and laptop seemed unharmed... this time!

These Anker cables are not expensive, and at least you have the backing of a better known brand name!

I've had Baseus one like that which I got from AliExpress last year - it seems to be lasting well in the lounge and got a few more recently for the office

Thought it would be a novelty, but it's actually useful in some cases, seeing power draw of devices so you know what chargers can be used for said device
