Not really, £2.60 with hermes
Only if you point it that way and pull the trigger
depends on model
blue bosch are professional grade & at this price its a steal over anything at the same price less a possible Makita
I ordered it and it didn't charge for delivery,it said the £4.99 is included in the price, not sure how that works!
Don't forget, the standard warranty is 1yr but you can increase this to 3yrs by registering (the drill & batteries separately) on the Bosch Professional website.
Would have been a great deal if this was for an Impact driver tho
(edited)
it says this is an impact driver and you can see a hammer on the settings of it specs from the bosch site
(edited)
Hammer function is for drilling and is not the same as how an impact driver works.
It's useless at being an impact driver, trust me
Regular driver-yes, but not impact.

If using occasionally than sure, however the extra battery is actually a must have if you are working on time-sensitive stuff such as glue-ups, or mixing something, I have only 1 good battery now for mine and its always frustrating when it happens in a middle of a job like that.
Also the l-boxx is actually a damn good storage box for other stuff ,throw out the insert and you have nice sturdy place where to store all kinds of other stuff you need.
I only tend to do short jobs anyway so I think one battery will be enough
In my opinion better than DW, not as good as Makita, with Milwaukee being absolute top of the range. I do have, however, one of basic BOSCH drills worth £50 in my garage being used and abused EVERY DAY except Sundays in last 4 years and it is still running!
Wow, I'm thinking now wether to buy one and do the same
I have one albeit the 14.4 model from B&Q when they cleared it out, with again 1.5amp batteries, and I need to recharge them quite often as it lasts around 20 mins mixing mortar, and about an 45mins for general drilling in mortar/bricks/metal.
The product code according to Bosch is 0 601 9D2 370 which is only 1.5amp
bosch-professional.com/gb/…tml
m.screwfix.com/des…024 has a 2ah battery albeit just one
Take for example the Bosch GOP 18 V-EC ?
£249 rrp ! Now £169 - £20 cash back
Well a quick check on the web abd this item is universally £149 without cash back.
Hmmm..... all that glitters is not gold
Different product code (06019E7170) shown on the listing. See bosch-professional.com/gb/…s-p for manufacturer description.
Maybe with a bit of sweat. Hammer drills work best drilling into soft brick/cement. I'd recommend an SDS drill to make your life much easier. A good one normally treats walls like butter.
I've bought this mainly for the batteries for my impact driver, but I've got a Bosch PSB 18 LI-2 drill as well I could replace.
The specs are here - bosch-do-it.com/gb/…jsp - could anyone tell me if its any better?
I can see that the chuck is bigger, but the torque is lower?
EDIT - D'oh, just realised it's not a hammer drill!
