What are everyone's thoughts on Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum in terms of longevity?
Seems good enough to me. 8 hours as a skin scent and a bit longer on clothes. I blind bought this based on the Fragrantica reviews and so far I'm pretty bowled over. Truly fantastic scent that I can imagine using in many situations and all seasons, though I bought it mainly for summer as a fresh blue and it's great for that

Great smell, but doesn’t last very long unfortunately.
Like 99% of fragrances these days. Terrible when even the decent houses are scrounging on the ingredients. 😞
I've been using this product for years, and honestly, I don't get what all the fuss is about regarding its longevity. It lasts a good while for me, and I think some people may just be overlooking it. I mean, think about it. It's only natural that our brains would eventually tune out the scent because it would be pretty strange if we had to constantly smell ourselves, right? But don't worry, others can definitely pick up on the fragrance even if we can't.

Odd comments here. I have a relatively new bottle of the parfum and it lasts so long that when I spray on my wrist, I can still smell it even after showering. I assume some are getting confused with the EDT version. Anyway - great deal- Taken a punt on this. Never seen a scent with such good reviews on Fragrantica. (Almost) universal praise and seems like its good for all seasons and all situations.

Excellent offer given I paid £90 at John Lewis in Dec 2021 for the same.
My favourite fragrance and I own or have owned atleast 80 in this price range. It's long lasting and has character, something I find a lot of fragrances don't have and aren't rememberable. This always is. Have bought a new bottle for my wedding next week 🍾

Great Bleu alternative from Lidl called Deep for fiver
Honestly tried to like this Bleu de Chanel as well as all Chanel's other fragrances. All horrific or simply tolerable but they have such good reviews especially the Sauvage... Even tried the EDP, Parfum versions, and EDT of each at John Lewis. None appealed to me.
Probably the one I disliked the least was Egoiste but even then wouldn't pay more than £25 for itSauvage isn't by Chanel, it's by Dior. They are similar in the sense they are Bleu fragrances, but Sauvage uses a synthetic base called Ambroxan compared to Bleu de Chanel's Sandalwood base.
Agree with many posters here - bought a bottle recently and I feel like it doesn’t seem to last anywhere near as my old one (bought several years ago). Seems to be a trend which is really frustrating. Tempted to pull the trigger on Tom Ford Wood (oud) but just not convinced the smell from that will last long either.
