The simple design of the Culinare MagiCan Opener combines a robust handle with maximum comfort and a safe, sturdy grip for a tin opener that works efficiently and is easy to use
Featuring a powerful stainless steel cutting wheel, this opener cuts cans of all sizes, is lightweight and simple to turn, and securely clips to the top of the lid for safe removal and clean hands
To use, simply secure on top of the lid and turn the handle; the cutting wheel cuts around, not into the can so no sharp edges are left behind, while the lid stays attached until you open the handles
The clean slicing motion of this manual opener makes it a wonderful addition to your kitchen gear, as an effective tool for opening vegetables, beans, soups, and other favourite canned foods

these are excellent but beware if you have never used one before cos it normally slices a thin piece off the top of the label on the can so make sure that the thin piece of the label does not go into the food in the can, thanx for posting op

The old version of these were great. Can't say the same for this cheaper budget version.

I got one of these from Amazon and convinced that it was either a fake one or the actual manufacturer had started making cheap quality ones as it felt very plasticy (not as sturdy as I remeber them) and could not open most cans with it.

    Luckily Amazon refunded no issues.

Reading some of the reviews there still does seem to be a lot of 1 star reviews.

These things are awful, if a can is full invariably spills juice everywhere and leaves a thin piece of paper from the label in the food that you have to fish out. These make it a messy process and would recommend sticking to a normal can opener.
