Is this a good monitor for productivity on mac, and occasional gaming? Is there any equivalent with usb c? I’d like to daisy chain at some point. (edited)

Would this be ok for gaming? Has it got speakers?

I would say very casual games and not the first person shooter kind which you will need higher specs for. As for speakers nope so a work around you will need to plug an external speaker to your laptop/pc or plug headphones to you pc/laptop. You can get a amp/dac but those are headphones mainly.

    Just Paid £130.26 @ Amazon. Topped up £60 to get extra £5 so £135.26 minus £5 = £130.26!

Stacked £5 from Gift card purchase with the 15% electronics discount and the £5 extra from £60 top up.

Mine's all set up and wall mounted now. Ports in a sensible place so don't foul the wall/bracket. Very happy with it, feels decent quality and picture a real step up from my 9yr old AOC 1080p display. PC connected via Displayport, HDMI2 connected to an HDMI switcher with Firestick, PS3 and Chromecast, have 3.5mm audio cable connected to my amp and HDMI1 is free for my work laptop when I WFH, or Raspberry Pi for tinkering.

Using 100% scaling (which Windows recommends) everything is slightly smaller than on my old screen but perfectly legible and way more real estate. Glad I didn't go 4K at this size.

As much as you can go online and read about response times, colour accuracy and IPS glow, I think this will be a fine display for most people. If the specs offend you, then you need a display with a retail price closer to £300.

Thanks OP - been looking for a 27inch IPS QHD display with a VESA mount in the centre to match my existing wall-mount, with Displayport, 2x HDMI, and integrated PSU, for productivity and occasional casual gaming. This fits the bill and have Dell Advantage through work, so great price. Replacing a 10yr old AOC 23inch 1080p screen. Looks like free returns within 14 days if I don't like it.

Anyone able to "help" with an advantage code? Or is it possible to take part as a student if your institution doesn't necessarily take part in the advantage program?

Wouldn't buy it if you want it quick, had to cancel my order as it was expected 4 weeks to arrive.

so tempting, but my setup doesnt have space for 2 27" and one isnt enough. looking out for a 32" that takes on the roll of my current 2 displays

This is for the spare room for mainly pc work, can you put a fire stick on this for viewing films etc before I purchase fire stick. (edited)

It would output video but the monitor does not have speakers so you would need something external like speakers or headphones to run a cable to.

Ordered Monday, arrived yesterday. Bargain thanks to advantage code. Image is great for 3D CAD work compared to my old 24” monitor, only thing I’d say is the stand isn’t as rugged as my old dell, but once set up seems secure enough. (edited)
