Had DM’s all my life, UK made and non-UK made and they are very comfy and last ages. This is a great price .

I had these and they do not last! the colour fades on them and the canvas material wears down quite quickly. only good thing about them was the rubber soul, it was the only thing that held up!

I don’t get all the bad press here for poor quality DM’s. I’ve been wearing DM’s for years, my partner, my children too. I can’t honestly say that I’ve seen a quality issue at all-and my children really do put them through the mill. I’ve done 4 winters in my current DM’s and other than a bit of wear on the heels because of the way I walk, they’re absolutely fine. I do make sure that they’re looked after though, as in, the leather DM’s get the leather balm, the patent ones get the patent cleaner, and nubuck kinda’ ones get fabric protector from day one. My 1461’s have been worn for just over a year, 5 days a week for work, and other than a couple of wear scuffs on the leather, when they’re cleaned up, look fantastic.

No issues here at all.
