This tool saved me £50 from my local plumber (edited)

If these don't lock in position you will get frustrated using them if they slip open whilst in use.

Can't complain at this price but expect them to slip when you need them most.

I've just replaced mine with something better because of this.

I suppose for keen DIYers you better off with something more robust.
for occasional use this is good enough.

Draper are usually ok. For £4.75 couldnt resist. Reviews are fine.

Knipex ones are sometimes on offer for less than £20 and will work well and last at least your lifetime.
