    Delta 2 - All the way. 12Kg and LifePO4 battery with 3000 x recycles. For £1099 = No brainer.

Depends on your needs, I have one and at 1,024 Wh you aren't going to be running much for too long, its Ok for a day out but certainly not to keep you going through a power cut if being used to cook and heat, I use mine to run Dometic CFX fridge freezers. It's important to add up all the Wh of what you intend to use and work it all out or you could end up with something that doesn't suit your needs, there is however something for everyone

I ordered this off Amazon and recently returned, fantastic bit of kit but very heavy! Decided the delta 2 at 3000 recycle hours was much better value for longevity.
It ran everything I throw at it perfectly fine. If it was lighter and had a better cycle than 500 I would have kept it.
Interesting to note EcoFlow have an announcement Friday for new tech. (edited)

I recently bought a Bluetti EB55, just in case we have the blackouts that the government is warning us about, while also saying they won't happen. I unfortunately cannot justify one of these larger Ecoflow ones. Any idea what the new tech may be? I know they do larger stackable battery packs, but a power wall style full house kit would be good (and probably considerably cheaper than Tesla)

For anyone who doesn't have a clue you absolutely don't want this. You want something with LifePO4 batteries in it. Not because they're safer (they might be) like another comment said but because they're good for thousands (5000ish max)of cycles and not hundreds of cycles (500ish max) like the batteries in this. If you're a heavy user you could make this useless in less than 2 years.

It's progress, plenty of people are still happy with these and they paid full price, at 75p a Wh these are a great price and worth a punt, BUT as I said ensure you do your calculations, Wh can be eaten up pretty quickly by certain things, a full size Dometic motorhome fridge freezer on 240v is one example, never mind a larger home fridge freezer, check your power consumption!

I have a bunch of these and they are very quick at recharging, I also have the Poweroak 2,400 also known as Bluetti in other countries but that takes an age to charge useful for recharging the Ecoflows though and a solid slim piece of kit, I have it behind the passenger seat of my motorhome and just plug straight in, be warned fridges in motorhomes especially the full size ones take a hell of a lot of power so remember tp turn that onto gas to get the most out of your power bank.

Just beware the the new Ecoflow 'safer' generation are appearing now known as the 2, I just bought the Delta 2, these have the much safer LiFePo batteries in and charge a little faster still, at 75p a Wh the ones in Costco are a great price compared to the 2's at around £1.07 a Wh and the normal price non 2's at £1.03 Wh

If looking at the River Pro 2 beware the the new version does not have the capability fo the extra battery which is a shame, I have the older River Pro and extra battery so could not use the older extra battery on the new 2 so decided not to buy it.

The EcoFlow App is pretty good but is limited to certain models, so plenty of choice for bargain hunters or those that like to have the little extras that make life easier.

P.S. There is a 5yr warranty on the new 2's and they will run for around 10yrs and still have 80% of its capacity (edited)

Would this be suitable for charging at work then bringing home to save electricity? Asking for a mate

Max you can take on a plane is 100Wh so don't be planning to take these to tenerife or wherever to power your Starlink system

Can you charge this with solar panels? I've been looking at these for camping off grid, but it's hard to choose one. Jackery do one that charges from 2x 100w solar panels, which would be the selling point for me. Hyundai also do one which charges with a solar panel, but only one 60w panel.

Any advice would be much appreciated

Yes I’m sure it has a separate connection on it for solar

1.6 kWh capacity. Which is around 70p worth of electricity. Really worth £1200, given that very limited capacity and the extremely short time it would power anything of significance?

It depends what you are buying it for. If your plan is to charge it up for free, whether away from home or with solar, to save on bills, then it's not at all cost effective. If you want to have backup power in the event of a power cut, or want to go camping and be able to charge phones/laptops/tablets, then this is a good deal compared to the normal price if one of these. I bought a 537Wh bluetti LiFePo4 for £509 recently. This has three times the capacity. Albeit with normal Lithium ion cells. This would easily get you through a 3 hour blackout (edited)

These come into their own when wild camping or in remote locations where power is critical, e.g. power equipment like mobile phones, security cameras, medical equipment, boiling the odd kettle, low watt lighting, satellite equipment etc. IF you are in sunny climes these charge pretty quick from solar and the larger ones would give you an almost never ending flow of basic power, beware the solar panels aren’t cheap especially the folding ones so all adds up, I’m into it up to my neck having spent so much on kit but now I have it and works for my needs

if you just want power look at this on offer at 46p a Wh, this was the first I bought, takes an absolute age to charge but well made and I now use it to charge my Ecoflows amazon.co.uk/Pow…8-3

Great for emergencies but 9hrs to recharge compared to the Ecoflow at 1hr, you pay your money and take your choice, all needs are different.

When you say you use it to charge your Ecoflows, do you mean you have that trickle charging somewhere while you're away, then use this to boost the Ecoflows when they're running low?
