I bought a ThinkPad X395 a week or two ago for £180 refurbished on ebay and it's been great. Touch screen, windows hello, 16gb ram, only 256gb storage is the main disadvantage.

Yeah the processor is 3 or 4 years old but honestly it doesn't matter. You're going to use it for word processing, social media, and streaming. A refurbished laptop is good for the environment and a quarter the price of a new one.

And yes, I scanned it for malware, checked the bios was unlocked, and factory restored windows. All good as gold.

I've purchased a couple of surface pros off this seller and they have been perfect. Basically new condition.

As a seller they are quite variable quality if you read the comments from others including my own experience.

Be aware that that laptop comes without charger so expect another few pennies on one of them, I bought a 1st gen surface laptop from another seller and it’s a great device don’t need windows 11 as it’s not going to be on internet that much but yeh they are solid machines!

Rerubished. I don't like the sounds of that.

Windows 10 will no longer be supported after 2025 and so I will not buy any more cheap laptops such as this one unless I am sure that they will support windows 11. The only way to safely use this laptop after 2025 may be to install Linux on it.

Even if you install Windows 11 do you get support?

Would this be able to run Championship Manager 23? My son wants to get a cheap laptop for CM23 and Minecraft. Thanks 🙏🏻

Personal I’d get a FHD screen instead, the 768p is abysmal.
