Thanks for sharing OP. Even cheaper with subscribe and save.

There’s also a high viscosity (thicker) version here, handy for more porous items

    Toolstation £4.59 for 50 g , £5.80 Amazon!

I always found it's not the quantity but the fact it dries or gets stuck in the pipette end rendering the rest useless. Is this brand any better for that? I notice the 'good brands' seem to be less prone to it in general (eg Loctite) but only get the small tubes now as by the time I need it, it's probably dried out.

Mine keeps for years. Wipe the spout, tap the bottom of the bottle on the table a few times to make the glue run out of the spout back into the bottle before you put on the lid and keep the bottle in the fridge.

I don't know what these do differently to the single shot ones, but the lid doesn't get stuck and the nozzle rarely gets clogged. And when it does it only takes a little amount of work to remove the crusty bits and have it working again.

It's also a lot thicker than the average single shot glue, it stays in place a lot better. Looks like this price is decent, I paid 30p more from Toolstation.

Totally agree when finished with it tap it a couple times on the worktop and pop it in the fridge never had a problem and it works a treat

I've used this CA glue for years, I love it - I also have a can of accelerator that sets the glue instantly, similar to this amazon.co.uk/Bon…-16

I just pop the top off the bottle, once it eventually gets clogged and blocked up.
I then dip a piece of twist wire into it to apply to whatever needs glued.
I've had the Toolstation glue for at least a couple of years now. (edited)

Great stuff but always ends up clogged. I've tried banging the bottle on the worktop to knock the glue down out of the nozzle, I've stored it upside down so there's glue in the nozzle that won't dry out. Tried a pin in the nozzle (that I've had to twist out with pliers).

So I think the best option for me is to get the smaller, 20g bottles!

I use needle or safety pin to unblock the nozzle and works fine for me

Keep it in the fridge once open and it will be usable for years

    Hi All,

I find that for a Superglue, this one takes an absolute age to make a bond - I am talking many minutes - sometimes much longer - has anyone else noticed the same? It is pretty good when once set the initial bonding is extremely poor - never had this issue with any other brands of Superglue - can anyone recommend a decent alternative please?

    Many Thanks!

It could be that your surfaces are too dry. Try wiping one of them with a damp cloth.

I swear by this super glue. I've fixed stuff in my house that the missus hasn't even noticed.

Same as any other superglue, no difference from the pound shop stuff, if you use it properly it works well, don’t forget, when you really need it, the lid will be stuck on, or the whole thing will be solid, at least it won’t be empty like the 10 for a quid ones.

My son makes warhammer figures but I do most of the gluing for him. We’ve been using the same bottle of this stuff for about year now. It’s fantastic stuff. Occasionally I’ve had to use my pliers to open the lid after it got stuck but that’s my fault for letting the glue get on the threads.

I found that this stuff worked really well but when I tried using it many months later, it seemed to not be very effective. I had left the glue in the shed, so maybe it didn't tolerate the extremely cold nights. But otherwise, this is much better than regular super glue.

Rate this glue - does the job - I do end up cutting the nozzle shorter and shorter each reuse but for the price can’t complain!

Used it before, but wasn't stuck on it

I have been using this 'Superglue' for a few years , I have never had a problem with blockages .

I can recommend this Superglue , it works as described by the manufacture , this is my 'Go To' Glue for various repairs.
