Looks like overengineering. If you're really stuck on the brand, why not just buy this amazon.co.uk/Gar…M0/ ?

You can also get generic unbranded for much cheaper

Not over engineering at all?? Horses for courses, your suggestion won't work on a square/shaped/ non standard round tap at all, this will....
Sure if you have ancient old style taps then go for you're life, but for modern fittings this is a great solution

Great for filling a jacuzzi off a mixer tap in the kitchen. Much cheaper to use hot water from a gas boiler than using electric.

Yep, I am doing the same. Looking to get somesplitter in ground floor wc which is the closest point to boiler, otherwise thehot water goes around the house first, which is not as efficient.

This is a very neat solution - no need to keep attaching and pulling off the rubber type which inevitably end up leaking between the rubber and tap over time.

With this one, the metal extension stays on the tap and you just click the plastic outlet to it when needed.

I've had this for a couple of years. Works very well and still going strong.
