There's no mention of pop up waste on the one you have highlighted from Amazon though it does seem to show one in the photo. It did however make me find this one for £41.28 which does have pop up waste and also seems to be quite a bit higher price from other retailers than the one in the OP so hopefully better quality.

I have this tap fittedt last month. Although the tap is of good quality, this is not suitable for low pressure system ( Whatever rge description might say). The diameter of pipes that feed into the tap is quite small. I am having tu put up with very a low pressure on this tap as compared to the previous one I replaced.

I fitted this tap a fewweeks ago. As mentioned, the flat design means water sits on the tap and also the tails fitting is EU size so I had to buy a separate tap tail adapters to fit on the iso valve. The pop-up waste mechanism is a bit fiddley to fix but other than that a pretty good tap.

Used plumbers gold when fitting the tap and the pop up waste to seal (edited)

Agreed. I would try to recommend people get the version which allows the water to run off. Work very well. I think mine might be a slightly taller version of the picture below

Really? A quick search on HUKD shows last time was posted 7 months ago here. Quite a few weeks since last post. I was waiting for a deal on this tap and it is a long time since I've seen it here. But it was always just under £40 on Amazon. (edited)

I loved Grohe taps until they started fitting unexchangable hoses... Since then - no thanks.

When turning off, water from your hands tends to run down back of tap causing rust on plug popper rusting. When cartridge started leaking I was quoted £70 for a new cartridge. It was cheaper buying and fitting new tap. (edited)

Lidl had some basin taps similar to this . £19.99 5 year guarantee.

Including rods and pop up. But I wouldn't bother with that. Silicone the hole at the back of the tap and get a decent push plug.
