6600m is roughly equivalent to an RTX 3060 (mobile) for comparisons

I found a decent review here. Looks like you're spot on - it performs pretty much in line the 3060.

For £700 odd that seems good value to me.

Fantastic laptop, been using mine for a year now with no complaints, put an extra 1 tb m.2 card in the spare slot, great keyboard, NO screen wobble, only minor issue is the sharp corners at bottom corners of base which can initially be uncomfortable on your wrist but u soon get use to it, love the screen size, far better than my old 15.6" & laptop still fits in my old 15.6" bag, paid £1000 for mine, this price is a bargain

I had this and it's the worst laptop I've ever owned.... Now granted I've only owned MacBooks, but my god I didn't think laptops could be made this badly.

    Speakers are crap
Screen is crap and it's not glossy so it looks all washed out
The fan is constantly loud, there is no quiet mode as it just goes whirls up at every little thing.
The touch pad is also really bad

If this is what all Windows laptops are like, I'll stick to MacBooks lol.

Glossy screen is the biggest crap I can imagine, never again no matter the specs.

Absolute stonking price. A 1440p display and a card that competes with a 3060 as long as you stay away from Ray-Tracing. This should be ridiculously hot, especially as it's brand new and not a refurb or used. (edited)

Can't believe this isn't 1000+ and you have people complaining about stuff like it's trackpad!

You'll really struggle to find a used laptop that has a 1440p display and a card that matches the RTX 3060 for this price.

1000+? This is 4060 range. Nobody will pay 1000+ for 6600m.

729 eBay and 769 on Amazon now so deal needs updating

Updated now. I don't like it when people put their price up so much when things get put on here.

Anyway for anybody thinking about buying this I would now recommend: ebay.co.uk/itm…OPY

Same specs but with 3060 instead of 6600M. Listed at £840 but knock £75 off with ebay promo so comes down to £765

    Could a 6600M really run the laptop's 1440p display?
I'd imagine you'd have to straight upscale from 1080p in most modern AAA games, which might look a bit naff. Not every game has FSR.
Looks great otherwise. 8GB VRAM vs the RTX 3060's 6GB, but you do lose out on DLSS. Hmm...

Yes it can in many latest titles as long as you're okay with 40-50fps instead of 60+. For older games like the Witcher 3 it can play it at 1440p and over 60ps on Ultra settings (with one or two tweaks) just fine. (edited)

Good price but wont buy anything for now until more nvidia 40 series gpu laptops are available

These were £1,200 when new. 40 series will be similar price.

This is amazing price for qhd, 300 nits, 3ms 100% colour accuracy display laptop.

I'd still run demanding games at 1080p resolution for decent framerates (edited)
