For the USB ports there was a very thick inflexible cable (think vacuum cleaner power cord) which needs to be plugged into both USB2 and USB3 on the laptop as they just extend to the associated USB port on back of the keyboard.
If this is anything like the keyboard I got, it feels well built, but is only good for those that can type without looking at the keys as they'll be blank within 6 months.
