In my experience, quad HD needs at least 27".

Can you not simply use scaling?

Anyone know please if the Lenovo 3yr warranty needs activating please or if it's just receipt for proof of purchase?

I bought this one for £128 when it was on offer at eBay a week ago !

This is a better price and hopefully better cashback from the usual cashback sites

Quidco or Topcashback check the best deal with both if you're signed up.

It says IPS in the title info.

I upgraded my 1080p 24" Samsung monitor to this 1440p Lenovo. Very noticeable difference, everything is so much sharper and crisp. I can definitely vouch for it being a good resolution on this size monitor.

I have this Monitor, it's very good, I use it at 100 scaling level and it's perfect for me

TCB has marginally better cashback, 2.x%. £180 on education store.

I have this size monitor but a VA and I'm finding it really helpful for home working as it allows me to have two or three windows open minimised and visible on screen rather than having to keep switching, allowing me to keep an eye for emails etc. Recommended!

I use a 14 inch UHD laptop. I find this 24 inch QHD not as crisp / sharp as my UHD laptop screen.. for obvious reasons..

I wish I could buy a UHD monitor in my budget.

I am not sure on what basis are you making your statement!

I have 24" 2560x1440 screen and it's too small for that resolution.

got one in early lockdown - its a great screen for the price - i dont do any design work just need many screens for my job and wish i got a second!

customary warning in case it matters - the stand is really flimsy and any motion on your desk will make the screen wobble. but i am able to ignore that for the price i paid - and the fact it gives off zero heat unlike my super old flatscreen that is like a radiator. perfect for winter!

Dual 24" QHD is great for productivity, thin bezels make it great with a VESA mount system as well, nice and clean

Was worried the pixel size may be too small for this res on a 24" screen but according to a PPI calculator it's not quite as high as my Lenovo Thinkpad 14" screen at 1600x900 and that looks fine to me.

Don't see the point of increasing the font size to make text more readable for general use (not gaming or anything more graphics related), may as well save money and get a lower PPI monitor of similar dimensions.
  28. spursfan324's avatar
I was keen to get it because of the QHD resolution - it's basically the only 24 incher with this res at a really good price

    But
Read bad reviews on the colours and quality of the screen

Plus everyone told me better to get a 1080 with 144hz than this 1440 with 75hz

Ordered 2 for my home office, arrived within 24hrs - set up was easy, no need to adjust things yet, lovely bright screens compared to my ancient Dell screens.

Not tried them for gaming, but first impressions are positive - no VESA mouting screws included btw, so had to rummage in the screwpot for spares
