    just bought one lg 34UC98-w used from ebay ebay, cost me ~£150 delivered. After using 2x 25“ qhd monitors I have 2 niggles with this, the resolution I wish was slightly higher 5120 x 1440 so that its basically 2x qhd monitors and slightly wider, maybe 38 inches.

    Other than that it's perfect.

    Also for anyone else thinking about this, at native resolution this is really good, big enough to read text without scaling. I see no point getting 4k monitors at native res the text is too small. Even my qhd monitors the text was a tad too small!
