This is a fantastic price for this stunning TV. This is the previous generation being the C1 compared to the newer C2 but I have this tv and would absolutely buy again at this price point if I needed to.

LG’s powerful new processor - Alpha 9 Gen 4
Capable of automatically detecting and optimising the content you’re watching, LG’s powerful Alpha 9 Gen 4 processor is at the heart of making this TV a spectacular performer. Using AI technology, the picture and sound are optimised to best suit the genre – be it movies, sport, gaming or regular TV. The processor on this 65 inch LG TV also drives the brilliant AI Picture Pro and AI Sound Pro.
AI Picture/Sound Pro for professional sound and vision
Using a huge database of over one million visual date points, AI Picture Pro uses deep-learning algorithms to recognise content, remove noise and optimise the picture. AI Sound Pro leans from more than 17 million audio data points, identifying voices, effects and frequencies. From here it optimises the sound by genre, giving a more natural sound quality.
SELF-LIT OLED – the ultimate picture technology
Rather than using a backlight, OLED TVs feature self-illuminating pixels. This SELF-LIT technology means that you get 100% colour fidelity, infinite contrast with the deepest depth and stunning detail.
Ultimate detail - Dolby Vision IQ
For ultimate detail, in all environments, this LG OLED features Dolby Vision IQ. Dolby Vision IQ version uses data within the signal and light sensors inside the TV to adjust the picture quality for the best contrast. This improves the picture’s brightness, without ‘washing out’ the depth. You get a consistent picture quality, however light or dark your room is. Whether you’re watching a brightly lit sports event or moody movie, Dolby Vision IQ adjusts to suit.
HDR made better, with HDR10 Pro
LG’s powerful processing also helps in getting the very best from HDR10 material. Whether watching movies or gaming with HDR10 games, HDR10 Pro intensifies the regular HDR experience. HDR10 Pro automatically adjusts the brightness, enhancing colour and detail for a more vivid picture.
See the picture exactly as originally intended, with Filmmaker Mode
If you’re mad about movies, you’ll love Filmmaker Mode. Designed in collaboration with filmmakers and Hollywood studios, Filmmaker Mode lets you experience the cinematic vision, exactly as the director intended. Overriding the TV’s own motion and picture processing, Filmmaker Mode presents the correct aspect ratio, colour and frame rate – just as the filmmakers intended.
Game Optimiser with HFR, VRR and ALLM for a gaming advantage
Game Optimiser utilises a dedicated gaming menu, letting you select and control specific gaming features, such as Reduce Blue Light, Prevent Input Delay, VRR and AMD FreeSync. Equipped with a full HDMI 2.1 interface (all four sockets), this LG TV gets the very best from your choice of gaming source. ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) mean that your TV automatically adjusts to the optimised settings for gaming – giving you a smoother and faster response.
Dolby Atmos compatible sound
With a Dolby Atmos processor built-in this LG 65” TV decodes Atmos sound tracks - giving you the potential for an even more immersive sound. With its built-in 2.2 speaker set-up and a 40 watt amp, the OLED65C14LB delivers a smooth, well-balanced sound.
Welcome home - LG webOS 6 for the best in smart TV
Widely regarded as one of the best smart TV platforms, LG’s webOS system just keeps getting better. The latest webOS 6 uses your viewing history to recommend a range of shows and movies from across various apps. An improved home page offers improved graphics, with dedicated info and search boxes.
Magic Remote made better
LG’s Magic Remote has always led the field for simple, gesture and voice control. The latest version retains this, while offering direct keys for popular streaming services and a new, cleaner style. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney + and Rakuten TV are all now just the touch of a button away. Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa also get dedicated buttons for simply voice recognition.
The hub of your home entertainment
Featuring LG’s ThinQ AI technology, you can control a Home IoT ecosystem with natural voice recognition. With both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in, it makes it even easier to control your LG OLED TV and quickly access the entertainment you’re looking for.
Whether you’re gaming, chilling with a movie or just watching TV, the LG OLED65C14LB makes every genre a breathtaking experience.

sorted byThere was also the classic £999.97 deal at Currys for some time but I don’t know if anyone was ever able to actually buy that.
if you’re not bothered about using BFI for gaming then the 2022 models will probably be worth it as the interface should be somewhat snappier.

And if so , would someone be kinder enough to tell me which one I should get please x
The 65" has a VESA size of 300 x 200 mm.
That's what you need to look for on your mount. It's up to you which style of mount you get. You can get flush mounts that don't move, tilt mounts that angle up/down, or full motion mounts that you can pull out from the wall so you can angle it left and right.
You can get stand mounts as well as well mounts if you don't want to drill into a wall
Full motion

I have a sanus vlf728, usually £250 but currently on offer as close to black Friday
Sanus Vlf728 (B2) Slim Full Motion Swivel TV Bracket (42-90") amzn.eu/aZkyAPu
If the TV is mounted to high, i.e. more than say 1m from the floor you'll want atleast a tilt mount IMO so you can angle the TV towards where you sit. (edited)
Now if you can get a c1 with an Evo panel (can check on the outside of the box) I would take that. My C1 77" is a later model with an Evo panel.
Wouldn’t this be the better buy for the newer tech inside? Granted same screen.
Believe the new CS sits between this and C2.
65C1 specs: lg.com/uk/tvs/lg-oled65c14lb
So basically the CS is just a C1 but with the same processor as the C2 (edited)
