I generally love sweet paans. The beetlenut must be shredded for me, as I've not got the strong teeth of bengali aunties!.

If anyone wants to try a different type of rice I HIGHLY suggest Arirang or Fortune Fu Lin Men Pearl Rice.

Rice nowadays contains high levels of arsenic, to mitigate that and get fluffier rice, soak overnight in water and drain and rinse well.
