    If your engine seizes up in the first 2 years of using this filter they will replace the filter. You have to replace the engine.

    If you don't know what you are doing it js probably worth sticking to an oem filter for the small price difference. This at least guarantees compatibility and quality.

    I am not sure what the .manufacturers specifications are from Ford/Mazda/Kia but the pressure bypass opens on this filter at 14.5psi.
    Not sure if this is normal but it does seem low in comparison to other manufacturers. This means that unfiltered oil will circulate around the engine above this pressure.

    Worth doing a bit of research when you go non oem. Also note that running heavier oils increase oil pressure.
