sorted byMetal Gear Solid V is split in to two parts:
MGS: Ground Zeroes is a smaller part that will last you about 2-3 hours (hence the price), it's set in a large prison compound and will feature the main story mission as well as about 4 or 5 smaller missions.
MGS: Phantom Pain is the other part of the game which comes out next year and will be a lot bigger in scale.
I'm guessing they're selling us the already finished early part of MGSV to give us a taste of the full game which they're still working on.
For £25 on PS4 I'm not complaining, it looks amazing visually.
With this deal, you can get it for £25, without the need to download 40gb+, and more importantly, you'll be able to sell it on ebay after you finish it to make most/all of your money back. I do this with every new game I buy for consoles, since I always scour for the pre-order discounts, finish them quickly, then sell them back on. If the game is good, I'll buy it again digitally later, usually in a sale or through PS+
Game looks amazing btw.
Nothing in this game will even be in the main game!
If you're gonna complain at least call it a massive DLC
put it in the basket not at checkout
I'm gonna get it, hopefully get all the trophies by day 2 and then trade it in.
The amount of people with the same mentality, the pre-owned price is going to plummet fast.
I used Paypal and they took the money.
I paid via paypal and it was instant, it may however be different for card payment, ie charged upon dispatch....
I have used Paypal for preorder before and money wasn't taken until dispatch.
"The Asda Pre-order Price Promise is available on Asda Direct (www.asda.com/direct) for all pre-order CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays, Books, Games software, hardware and accessories*. On pre-ordering a product from Asda Direct, you will be required to pay the amount shown at the checkout. From the point you order – if Asda reduces the price in store or online up to and including the day of release, Asda will refund you the difference in price**. This means you always get Asda's lowest price from the point you pre-order. For example, if a game costs £40 at the point of your order – you will be charged £40 at the checkout. If we reduce this game to £35 the week before its launch date – we will refund you £5. If we reduced the price before the time of your order – unfortunately you will not qualify for the refund. *The Pre-order Price Promise does not apply to products that have already been released. It excludes all other products on Asda Direct and is only valid on pre-order CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, Books, Games software, games hardware (consoles) and accessories. ** Asda will process the refund within 7 days of the release date. The refund will automatically be credited to your payment card."
March / April will be busy as MGS, Watch Dogs and DriveClub are out near the same time as long as their not further delayed.
Rumoured to launch as £20 on PSN.
Edit: Just seen that next gen digital versions are more (why, I have no idea). Heat added!
